Ruby Kammer was born in Australia. She left with her family at 5 years old and has lived in Bangkok & New York before settling in Rome, Italy where she lived for 10 years and began her acting career at 8 years old in the television mini series “Ferrari” with Sergio Castellitto followed by the film “Evilenko” with Malcolm McDowell and “Piazza dell Cinque Lune” with Donald Sutherland amongst other film and television work in Italy and abroad. Ruby studied classical dancing from the age of 3 years old and attended the Accademia Nazionale Dir Danza in Rome for several years before deciding to concentrate on acting. In 2009 Ruby left Italy with her family for London to continue her education in Drama and Dance. She attended a boarding school in Surrey, UK called ‘Hurtwood House’ where she successfully completed her A-Levels in Media, Italian and Theatre Studies. After a long period of Drama school auditions in London, Ruby decided to pursue a career in Dance instead which led to an acceptance into one of London’s leading Dance colleges, London Studio Centre where she completed the Foundation Course in Dance Theatre. She was then accepted into the BA (Hons) for Dance Theatre. With a little confusion, Ruby decided to interrupt the degree course and go back to her true passion, acting. In 2014, Ruby was accepted into the International School of Screen Acting in 3 Mills Studios in East London where she received a certificate for the ‘One Year Intensive Screen Acting Course’. She graduated in July 2014 and is presently represented by the London based talent agency, Simon & How.
