Julian Grey, born in Los Angeles, CA, is a newcomer to film. Earlier this year Grey wrapped his first feature film portraying the fearless son of Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Fox Searchlight’s Downhill (2020), directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash. The film, based on the Golden Globe nominated Swedish film Force Majeure, is about a family of four on a winter ski vacation who become rattled in the aftermath of a diverted avalanche and their father’s cowardly behavior. Grey’s TV projects include Fox’s Wayward Pines (2015) and Netflix’s critically-acclaimed gritty western, Godless (2017). Godless received 18 major nominations and won three. In Godless, Grey played the son of the town Sheriff (Scoot McNairy) and young nephew of Emmy-winner Merritt Wever (Unbelievable, Nurse Jackie). Godless also starred Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey). In his downtime, Grey prefers to be on the slopes.
