Jake Robinson was born in Ohio on May 23, 1990. He was raised in the Cincinnati suburb of Loveland. While a teenager, Jake discovered his love of acting, performing in numerous school plays and musicals. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 2008 and went on to attend Otterbein University in Westerville, OH, where he graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Acting. Jake relocated to New York where he found work in several independent productions. He picked up greater screen roles after his breakthrough on The Carrie Diaries (2013). His role on the series spanned across the first two seasons. He appeared in guest roles during 2014, 2015 and 2016 in other television series including the episode pilot for The Leftovers (2014), The Blacklist (2013), Rules of Cool (2015) and People of New York (2015). His next big role was on the drama series American Odyssey (2015) during its first season. He guest-starred for a few episodes in the first season of Sublets (2016). Between the later half of 2016 and into 2017, Jake took on a busy schedule of roles in films and television features including Set It Up, Broken Breath, The Mimic (2018), My Days of Mercy (2017), A Midsummer’s Nightmare (2017) and for the following year, a role in Life Itself (2018).
