At the age of 15, Chosen Jacobs is definitely a rising star! Although new to Hollywood, he has always been able to entertain a crowd. Chosen can be seen on the silver screen this September in the highly-anticipated horror movie, “IT”, written by Stephen King and directed by Andy Muschietti. In the film, he portrays the character of Mike Hanlon. You can also find him on CBS’s hit show, Hawaii Five-O, in a recurring role as Will Grover, the lovable and witty teen son of Lou Grover. He also plays, Young Michael, in the feature film “Cops and Robbers” and can also be seen on TV Land’s “American Woman” in a guest starring role as William that will be coming out in 2018. Chosen is an actor and a singer that was born in Springfield, MA and raised in Atlanta, GA. Chosen began his singing career with the Atlanta Boys Choir, singing opera at the age of 6. He performed concerts locally, toured nationally, and internationally. At the age of 10, he began his acting career performing in Atlanta’s local theaters. He performed in “The King and I”, “Into the Woods”, and “Hairspray”. At the age of 13, he wanted to pursue his acting career even further, so he, his mother, and sister moved to Los Angeles. Chosen is no stranger to getting on stage and putting on a show. He has always enjoyed performing live at coffee shops and venues in Atlanta. He loves to entertain the crowd by singing while playing the piano or guitar. When he’s not on stage or in front of the camera, Chosen loves to spend his time in the studio writing and producing music. In the future, he’s looking forward to putting out an EP album. Chosen has a special place in his heart for special needs children and loves to give back to the less fortunate by feeding the homeless or donating his time to organizations in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
